Davening (2023) Deena T. Grossman explores the musical culture of her Eastern European Jewish origins with this trio for flute doubling alto flute, viola and cello. She honors and expands on her immigrant heritage in the best American tradition of transforming diverse cultural roots into lyrical and illuminative new music.
